The road-facing front of the property has no tree cover which makes it the strongest location for Starlink on the property.
Grid power at the garage
While we are off-grid at the house, we intend to build a woodshop in the garage. That is best served by grid power, so grid power can also run Starlink without drawing from the house.
Protect the solar budget
Moving those steady loads to the garage preserves the house’s limited solar capacity for the home itself.
