The greenhouse is still an idea, but the goal is real. It’s our first real experiment in growing food past a small raised garden bed.
Greenhouses require monitoring and reacting to temperature, humidity, and soil. I think that some of the monitoring work could be managed with sensors and small controls. The LoRa field network ↗ could carry temperature, soil, water, and battery readings beyond Wi-Fi, while the Ansible Homelab ↗ could store those readings, monitor the system, and let us know when something needs attention.
